Oakleigh Golf Club is an affiliate of Golf Australia, and the Victorian Golf League (VGL). Founded in 1979, the not for profit club is based at the royal and ancient Oakleigh Golf Course.

A history of the Club and course can be found elsewhere on this website. In 2019 the Club celebrated its 40th Anniversary, and in 2022 the ladies and mens clubs amalgamated.

The Club has an executive committee elected annually by its members. The committee meets regularly throughout the year and is responsible for:

• General function and operation of the Club
• Liaison with the course management
• Liaison with the Monash Council
• Administration of the Club, including fees, insurances, and bills
• Social, ethical and environmental impact of the Club’s activities
• Ensuring the Club provides a safe and pleasurable environment for its members.
