Charity Day

In 2021 and 2022, OGC held a charity event to support the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The club puts on a free feed and the ladies prepare some scrumptious salads to compliment the BBQ.

Prizes are awarded for all 18 holes, and some great raffles. The members dug deep into their pockets and have raised over $1,000 each year. It is now a permanent fixture in the syllabus.

First Aid Training

OGC applied for a Sporting Club Grants Program (2020/21) to support first aid training for selected members of the club, as well as the Oakleigh Ladies GC and Oakleigh Veterans. 

The application was successfully awarded by the Hon Ros Spence MP (Minister for Community Sport).
